To finally be free of someone
a someone that has held a piece of your heart for so long
you'll aways hope for the best on their behalf
BUT...
no more wonder and concern about their life and troubles
no more holding back from those that you care for and see everyday
no more what if's and did i do the right thing by walking away
too bad for them.
Freedom!!!

Its always a huge relief to have a weight of the past finally drop away.
Had a somewhat similar experience recently actually.
